Living out of a backpack...

Random walks, directionless strolling, crazy running, purposeful strides, chattering travellers, cold stares, sweet smiles, stupid jokes, arbit leg pulling, trading insults, swapping stories...
icy cold winds, the occasional drizzle, missed buses, wrong direction trains, platform sleeping, counting euros, penny pinching, frugal breakfasts, forex conversion rates, occasionally comfortable beds...
baggage counters, hi-tech railways, moving escalators, incomprehendable overhead announcements, constant emoting, confusing directions, kissing couples, happily drunk youngsters, subcontinental friendliness, bangladeshi bonding, the constant search for drinking water, hoarding of supplies, roadside bargaining, hunger pangs, sleepless nights, changing trains...
beautiful churches, pretty villas, wonderful smells, dolled up women, dashing men, luxurious shops, window shopping, sunkissed beaches, planned cities, picture perfect towns, fairy tale castles, breathtaking views, mad scramble for photos, pretty flowers, laid out gardens, mac burgers, perfectly round pizzas, delicious bakeries, long distance joggers, whistling cyclists, dazzling sunrise, joyful ferry rides, trekking trips, gushing waterfalls, teeming crowds, stabs of loneliness, overwhelming homesickness, the ride home...and the planning begins. For the next conquest.
